There are many ways to use your Education Cubes to help make math more fun! For example, you can use them to help your learner practice the concept of multiplication by using the Number insert cards to play the Grid Multiplication Math Game.
The Grid Multiplication game utilizes the array multiplication method which can be quite helpful for children just learning to multiply!
Activity Instructions: Download and print the Grid Multiplication Game for each player. Laminate the game boards or slide them in page protectors. Each player takes turns rolling the two cubes and making an array on their grid corresponding to the numbers rolled. After making the array, the player writes the corresponding multiplication equations. The player with the largest product gets a point for winning that round of play. The player with the most points wins the game!
You can access the Number insert cards by joining the Education Cubes Members Only Site. Purchase photo blocks here.
