There are many ways to use your Education Cubes to help make early learning more fun! For example, you can use them to help your learner work on counting, 1-to-1 correspondence, and color matching by using the Apple insert cards to play a fun, apple themed game!
Activity Instructions: Insert the desired apple insert cards into a cube. Download and print the Apple Grid Games.
To play the red apple game: Roll one cube and count the number of apples on the cube. Using counters or buttons, cover the same number of apples on the grid until it is full.
To play the multi-color apple game: Fill the cube with two red, two yellow, and two green apple insert cards. Roll the cube and cover the same color apple on the game board. Continue rolling and covering until all apples are covered. This is a great way for little ones to practice color matching.
Both games would be a great addition to fall and apple themed learning units!
You can access the Apple Counting insert cards and the Apple Colors insert cards by joining the Education Cubes Members Only Site. Purchase photo blocks here.
